Movement is Magic - A note from Kurt
Hi! I’m Kurt, a certified massage therapist specializing in stretch and recovery, currently based in San Diego, CA. I wanted to introduce myself and my mobile bodywork company, Move Magic Stretch & Recovery.
The idea of Move Magic first began when I unexpectedly became my own first client.
Several years ago, an injury took me from my peak athletic state to virtually immobile overnight. Desperate for a solution to my newfound pain, I endured endless doctor consultations, invasive treatments, and lifestyle changes - but I still wasn’t any closer to feeling better.
Just as I was losing all hope, I booked a massage on a whim and instantly knew that this was the solution I’d been looking for!
After experiencing firsthand the benefits of bodywork on my own pain, I became obsessed with all aspects of massage. I quickly earned my massage certification and began developing my craft in various modalities - eventually developing my expertise in assisted stretch with a focus on recovery, mobility, and peak performance.
My clients started calling me the “Magic Man” because of my ability to have them “moving like magic” - thus, Move Magic was born!
I started Move Magic Stretch & Recovery in 2021 because I believe that bodywork is a necessity for a happy, healthy, and pain-free life.
My mission is to change lives by bringing relief and recovery to all through stretch and massage. I’m extremely proud to say that since Move Magic was created, I’ve successfully worked with every age, every occupation, and every body type, and this is only the beginning!
